OUR MARINA
There are no refunds on any berth fees paid to us for any long or short term advance payments so make sure you only pay as you go if you are not sure just how long you are staying with us.
Please inform us by 10am each day if you wish to stay another day on the marina or the full daily rate will be charged after that time. Weekly rates are payable in advance in order to receive this discounted rate, otherwise the daily rate will apply.
If you are paying the daily rate and decide you would like to stay for a week, let us know by 12 Noon on the 3rd day in the week and we will be happy to amend the charges to the discounted weekly rate for the whole week (providing this is paid in advance). Please inquire at the Marina Office for longer term fees.
ALL MARINA FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
We accept Cash, Card (Visa/ Mastercard) or Direct Deposit for berth fees.
No cheques are accepted without prior arrangement with Management.
CARE OF YOUR VESSEL
If you are leaving your vessel for any extended periods please inform the Marina Office so your vessel can be periodically checked.
CAR
We have a hire car available to use around the Hervey Bay local area. Please enquire at the office.
GATE ACCESS
GSSM has now implemented a digital access system. A digital key is required for entry to the Gates and Facilities (Toilets/ Showers/ Laundry) which are located at the side of the Terminal Building. An invitation can be sent via email prior or upon check-in to allow you to download a digital key to your smartphone.
LOCAL FACILITIES
A variety of restaurants & takeaway food is available within the Great Sandy Straits Marina surrounds. Gas is available from the caravan park opposite the Boat Club before midday.
A local Bus Service runs from the Marina to all major centres in Hervey Bay as well as the Railbus link to Maryborough West station.
A red “Post Box” is located on the footpath at the entrance to the Terminal Building.
LAUNDRY
The Laundry is located at the side of the Terminal Building and is token operated. Tokens are available at the Marina Office upon check-in.
Please do not hang laundry from your vessel as it is contrary to marina policy.
